About Us: |
Since 2002, Northern Missouri Outfitters has offered
low pressure hunts with fair opportunity and quality
personal attention. We are a managed 10,000 acre operation
in Adair and Schuyler Counties. The properties consist
of typical Midwest farm country, broken timbered draws, and small wood
lots scattered amongst agriculture and pasture. Each season our guides
will specialize in particular areas or farms to ensure complete knowledge
of deer and turkey patterns and tendencies.
Rob Whitley, President of Northern Missouri Outfitters, is also a guide and
is there every step of your hunt to ensure a well run camp. All the guides
are enthusiastic, accomplished hunters who take the extra time to put you
on game from day one. After years of quality hunts we have a large repeat
cliental. Film crews, repeat clients and new clients receive the same service
and opportunity each hunt.
Our Facilities:
All hunts include lodging at our 5,000 square foot lodge
and comes complete with meals and field transportation.
The lodge offers a private bedroom that sleeps two with a private
bathroom.

With the unguided hunts you are responsible for your
own lodging, transportation to and from the field,
and meals.
Proper Nutrition:
Corn fields and soy beans fields are literally everywhere! The Midwest is
know as america's bread basket and there's no wonder our deer are so well
fed. During the all important antler growth period of early spring, our deer are
deeding on our food plots of Tecomate Seed. This combination of Grain fields
and supplemental food plots has helped our hunters obtain the trophy of
a lifetime.
Age Structure:
Once a buck is given quality genetics and proper nutrition he only needs age
to grow into the trophy your looking for.
This is the reason we prefer you only harvest Mature Bucks. With our limited
pressure during the season you are just
as likely to encounter a Big Buck in December as in October.
